...a trip around the sun...

Today is a very special day.  One year ago today I was stepping off of a plane in Italy.  Tillman and I spent two fantastic weeks there.  It was our dream vacation.  The food, the wine, the food, the scenery, the food, the people, the food...you get the picture.

It really was the best trip.  There was only one downside to the trip.  This happened on the day we took off...

Yes, that is Elliet just a couple of hours old.  Born on June 13, 2013 at 2:16 p.m.  Yup, we missed it.  Let it be said that she arrived 3 weeks early.  We would have been home if she had come closer to her due date, but she had it in her mind to get to the party early.

We will be celebrating her birthday on Saturday at her first birthday party.  It's sure to be as fun and special as she is.  Happy 1st Birthday, Bug!   We sure do love you!  Can't wait to see what the next year brings!
