...learning and teaching...

I'm home, my bags are unpacked and my laundry is finally done.  TNNA was a blast.  I met some really great people, caught up with some old friends, saw some beautiful yarn, learned a ton and basically had the best time.
I took a class from Edie Eckman on Technical Editing and Writing for Knitting and Crochet.  It was a two day class and my brain is full.  There was so much information that it's going to take me a while to digest all of it but it's exactly the kind of information I've been looking for.  Edie is a great teacher and if you have interest she has a couple of classes on Craftsy.

Speaking of classes I’m going to be teaching one!  Knitting with your iPad!  In the class I’ll show you how to use your iPad (or iPad mini) as a powerful knitting tool.  If you are interested I’ll be at All About Yarn on January 18th at 1:00 pm, For Yarn’s Sake on January 26th at 2:30, and I’ll be up at Madrona teaching there!  Maybe you got a new iPad for Christmas and aren’t sure what to do with it or maybe your a seasoned iPad user.  Whichever the case, I’ll show you some tips and tricks to use with your tablet to make the most of it!  I hope you’ll join me!

I wanted to leave you with a glimpse of what I saw everyday while at TNNA.  I can't wait to go back!

I so wish I lived closer to you! I would absolutely take your class! I know that I don't use my iPad to its full potential and would love to learn how to use it better.
