I finally have a new website! This has been a labor of blood, sweat and tears, but mainly a labor of love.
Finally, a place to keep all things "The Stitches of My Life Designs" together. It's the first shot at it and I know there will be things that I will change and things that I will add. But for an initial effort I think it's pretty terrific.
Special thanks go to Erin and Kate for all of their help in getting this baby off the ground. Girls, I could not have done it without you and your constant "Did you get your website launched yet, Mom?" questions. Thank you both for your visions, edits, questions and answers throughout this whole process. I bet you can't wait for my next hair brained genius idea!
Please stop by the website and leave me a comment in the blog comment section. I'd love to hear from all of you!
I finished my swatch for my sweater and all I can say is LOVE!!!
It's Madelinetosh Sock in the color way "tart". It is beautiful and now all I want to do is get this sweater done and wear it everywhere. I plan to have it done for my trip to Rhinebeck. You will be getting updates!
I'm trying my hand at blogging with my iPad! Sweet! And this class with Anne Hanson is amazing! She is one smart lady! We've taken a complete set of our measurements and are now selecting a sweater pattern. I've chosen this. I am starting the swatching now! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad
I know that I owe you a huge post on Sock Summit but I am madly packing my bags to head to Oakland and A Verb for Keeping Warm. I am taking a class from one of my favorite people on the planet, Anne Hanson! She is teaching a Sweater Fitness Class and I can't wait. It's been a long time since I've had the chance to take a class and I know this one is going to be great. the weekend starts with a gathering at the shop on Friday night with both Anne and Cookie A, who is also teaching there this weekend. I know I will have a bunch to report on when I get home! Rest assured that you will be getting the blow by blow on this and Sock Summit next week!
In the meantime, I leave you with what undoubtedly will be the best memory I have from Sock Summit 2011. Thank you Stephen! It really was the time of our lives!
